How Fast is MyCorporation?

We did not see filling times listed on the MyCorporation website, other than with vague language like “fast filing.” In a walk-through of enrollment, we noticed there is an option to add Rush Filing for $100, with the following language: “Save up to 85% of the Standard Filing turnaround time. Your documents will be hand delivered to the Secretary of State’s Office for immediate filing.” However, the website does not state what the standard filing turnaround time is, or what the rush turnaround time is, in terms of the number of days.

How Much is MyCorporation's Registered Agent Service?

Registered Agent Service with MyCorporation is available for $120.00 a year. If you select the Deluxe or Premium plan, one year of service is included. This service auto-renews annually.

MyCorporation has a five-star Google rating, based on 147 reviews. Customers praised their personal service, and helpful, knowledgeable people. The company also has a four-star rating on TrustPilot, with 197 reviews. MyCorporation is not BBB-accredited, but it does have an A+ rating with the BBB. At the time of this MyCorporation review writing, there were no complaints for the company registered with the BBB.

Guarantee

In terms with MyCorporation’s guarantee, the company will attempt to resolve any satisfaction issue you may have. If you are still unsatisfied, you may request a refund within 60 days of your purchase. Funds already applied toward state filing fees, publications fees, corporate kits and/or shipping and handling are nonrefundable. While the website states you may request a refund, it also says that the company will issue no refunds except for state filing fees for orders placed on hold by the customer longer than three months after the original order date. This language is a bit confusing and seems contradictory.

We did find a couple of negative MyCorporation reviews, mostly focusing on refunds of service fees. Individuals at MyCorporation who appeared to be seeking resolution addressed the reviews.

Overall Score:

MyCorporation has a long history in online business formation, and a good online reputation. It also looks like they are easy to contact, with several options to reach them. While there were a few negative MyCorporation reviews, they were addressed by the company. Our only concerns are (a) the confusing language about refunds, in their legal copy and (b) the lack of clear information about processing times. Based on this information, it looks like MyCorporation could be a good choice for starting an LLC or corporation.
